FACULTY DOOR DECS FOR 2010 
The Chemistry Club is a student affiliate chapter of the American Chemical Society. We are also an ISU Registered Student Organization (RSO)
For the 2009-2010 academic year the ISU Chem Club was awarded a Honorable Mention National Award by the American Chemical Society. This is the second straight year that our Club has received this award. WE ARE GOING TO THE NATIONAL ACS MEETING IN ANAHEIM CA TO PICK UP THIS AWARD AND THE TRIPS ARE PARTIALLY FUNDED BY SALES OF LAB MANUALS AND SAFETY GLASSES.

The Club also received an ACS travel grant to help fund this trip...congratulations!!

Some of the Club's activities include:
The American Chemical Society has recognized the Club as an outstanding student affiliate chapter three times in recent years.
Chem Club Participation in the January 26, 2011 Metcalf Middle School Career Day; we sponsored two different workshops involving chemistry and biochemistry and the visiting students enjoyed the activities:
