NMR Facilities

The NMR facilities at Illinois State University are located in the Department of Chemistry on the second floor of the Science Lab Building in room 223. Two Bruker Avance III NMRs are available: a 500 MHz and a 400 MHz spectrometer.

  • A student uses the Bruker Avance III 500 MHz NMR.

    The Bruker 500 MHz instrument, acquired in 2009, is used primarily for research.

  • The lab containing the Bruker Avance III 400 MHz NMR.

    The Bruker 400 MHz spectrometer is used for both research and teaching.
