Active Research Funding

Securing external funding via competitive grants and other sources is an essential and often challenging responsibility for faculty in our department. Obtaining external funding not only advances the department’s research capabilities but also enhances the university’s reputation as a leader in cutting-edge scholarship. The Department currently has 3.3M in active research funding from prestigious organizations such as the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Institutes of Health (NIH), American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund (ACS-PRF), National Institute of Justice (NIJ), Department of Defense (DOD), and others, listed below. We congratulate and thank our faculty members who have successfully secured external funding, and we appreciate their efforts and dedication to advancing knowledge in the chemistry field.
